An OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) Programmer, like our Black Bandit's Iron Loader, is a device that interfaces with your vehicle's computer system. It allows users to download the stock PCM (Powertrain Control Module) data and send it for modification. Once modified to enhance performance, the tune files are sent back to the user for uploading to the vehicle. How does the Iron Loader work? Purchase the Iron Loader tailored for your specific vehicle model. Use the Iron Loader to download your vehicle's stock PCM data. Send us the stock data for modification. Receive the modified tune files within three business days. Upload the enhanced tune to your vehicle. Tune Levels: Economy: Removes all stock emissions components, retaining stock power level. StockPlus: Retains all emissions components, adds approx. 35hp, and improves economy by ~5-10%. EcoPower: Removes emissions components, adds 35hp, focuses on fuel mileage gains. Race: Removes emissions components, adds 50hp, tailored for racing while ensuring safety. Max: Removes emissions components, adds 75hp, maximizes power on stock systems. Custom: A tailored calibration for specific needs, ideal for aftermarket modifications.
